Founded in 2008 by Paul Roberts, Base Civil began with a modest and respected team based in Cambridge. Rapidly gaining a reputation for delivering end-to-end excellence across a broad range of civil construction projects, growth quickly came. The team expanded and moved into the current Woodward Street base in Hamilton.
Now established as a major roading contractor and prominent player in the subdivision market working in partnership with both private organisations and local government clients, Base Civil now employs a large team and runs an impressive independent fleet. Paul splits his time between the office and sites and you will deal directly with him or one of our key project managers from initial planning engagement to site clean up. Through open and transparent communications and efficient project management, this hands-on approach enables us to keep a tight grip on each project through to completion. Staff training and development is a priority, we believe in expanding our staff’s skills and continuously improving our people. Health & safety, quality workmanship and the environment are at the forefront of everything we do.
